A Quick Visual Guide to Setting Up NetMeeting


NetMeeting System Requirements

Before you think about setting up and teaching with NetMeeting, make sure that your computer meets the the following minimum system requirements.

- 90 MHz Pentium processor
- 4 MB of free hard disk space
- 16 MB of RAM
- Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4.01 or higher
- Fast internet connection (56 kbps modem or faster)
- Sound card with microphone and speakers
- Video capture card
- Webcam for video support

NetMeeting is installed in many versions of Windows. However, Windows XP is the last version of Microsoft Windows to include NetMeeting. If you don't have NetMeeting, you can still download it for free at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/netmeeting/download/

Instructions

To run NetMeeting do the following:

1. Pick on the Start toolbar, than click Run.

2. In the Run menu type conf.exe.

3. Follow the setup wizard to further instructions on setting up NetMeeting on your computer.
